Dear Joy: The background of the beautiful music (House Of The Rising Sun) was the Jefferson Square in the French Quarter in New Orleans. There is a very long bridge (Causeway Bridge) across Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. It has a length of about 24 miles. This Bridge and French Quarter may be the hallmarks of New Orleans. Chicory coffee, beignets, seafood, and restaurants also attract tourists. In 1970 when I lived with an American roommate, his home town was in Louisiana. He told me that during the Civil War, coffee beans were not enough for regular consumption, chicory roots were used as a substitute for coffee beans. Besides eating, my friends' families and my family had good talks about various subjects. Health in general would be the most important issue. Everyone's age is older or close to 80. My family took a ride and enjoyed a glimpse around a few streets before we leaf New Orleans. We also spent more than one hour enjoying the breezy of the lake shore.
